Tax credits up to 25% of total project cost!

Who doesn't like saving money?  Whether your project is residential or commercial, there's a tax credit for you if your property meets the criteria.  Below is everything you need to get started.

Do I qualify?

After talking with the great team at the Wisconsin Historical Society (they're truly wonderful people!), Historic Window and Door put together what we hope is a useful tutorial to help you determine if your property qualifies.  Click the link below and follow the steps; it will open in a new tab so you can toggle back and forth.  If you do qualify, the link for more info and applying is at the bottom of this page.

In this example we used the Wisconsin Historical Society Headquarters as the property.  To qualify, your property needs to either be on the National and/or State Historic Registry, or be in a Historic District AND be considered to be "contributing" to the district.

If  "Contributing" or "National/State Register Listing Name" is left blank or says "not listed", then you may not qualify.  For more info we'd encourage you to reach out to the WHS directly.  They're there to help!
